The FDA is warning dog owners about a possible dangerous contamination in some canned dog foods. The foods comes from J.M. Smucker Company and include certain canned dog food products from its Gravy Train, Kibbles ‘N Bits, Ol’ Roy and Skippy brands. J.M. Smucker decided to call for the recall after the company confirmed positive pentobarbital contamination in certain cans of Gravy Train dog food. Pentobarbital is a drug that is commonly used as a sedative, anesthetic, or for euthanasia. The withdrawal applies to products that were manufactured from 2016 until now.
